Help: This address page
What this page does
This page shows what the city's open data records for one address: the zoning and what it means, the neighbourhood, every building permit on file and, where the city publishes it, the assessed value. It also shows the property on the city's aerial photo or a drawn plan, a 2021 Census profile of the small area around it, and recent permits nearby. Free, no account. Owner names and sold prices are never shown; the assessed value is the city's estimate for property tax, not a sale price.
How to use it
- Read the top lines for the summary: zoning, neighbourhood, number of permits and assessed value.
- Use + and − on the plan to zoom in and out.
- Scroll to Permit history for every permit on the lot: what was done, when, by which company, the value and the status.
- Click a nearby permit to open its address, or This week's permit digest → for the whole city.
- Something looks wrong? Use the Tell us link at the bottom and we'll check it against the city's records.

Interior alterations and to add new lab equipment and 4 fume hoods to Rooms 300 & 302 and to install a nuclear magnetic resonance in Room 211 on the 5th Floor of this existing BC Cancer Research Centre in this mixed-use high-rise medical laboratory/office building with ancillary library and lecture theatre spaces and a restaurant on the ground floor building on this site. Notes: 1. Proposed lab equipment are bench-top or mobile units to be purchased and installed later by the users and subject to change at all times like appliances. 2. Gas cylinders proposed are for point-of-use laboratory inert gases such as Helium & Nitrogen. These are not considered flammable or toxic, or oxidizing gases hence not required by Fire By-Law to be separated by fire-separated compartment. These cylinders are commonly used in laboratories and directly hooked up to the equipment when needed - and found across the whole facility. We do not believe they are required to be separated by code. 3. The renovation works approach taken is adapted to the existing site condition and ventilation system – terminating fume hood exhaust into the combined lab / fume hood exhaust system in the existing lab which is then dispersed into the atmosphere via high plume exhaust fans. The base building has a series of all stainless steel exhaust duct to convey general and fume hood exhaust. Furthermore, no existing fire separations are disrupted as part of the tenant improvement project. No change to drawing proposed. 4. Permit reviewed and approved to VBBL #12511 (2019). · $2,092,800
